A soft warm gold satin shot through with fine sparkle, so it catches the light without the coarse glitter finish that sheds. Champagne gold is the quieter gold, closer to a pale antique than a bright metallic, which is why it turns up on wedding stationery and understated Christmas work rather than party decorations.
